The N 545D31 KNX solar protection actuator is a four-channel DC 24 V drive controller for sunblinds, shutters, awnings, and ventilation flaps in low-voltage building automation.

Key Features

Each channel is rated for 6 A and uses two relays per output for polarity switching of the DC motor
The unit detects limit switches and automatically determines travel time through current sensing, eliminating manual calibration
Two status LEDs per channel indicate travel direction and override status
Direct operation buttons allow manual up/down control, stopping, and slat adjustment
Maintenance-free terminals support conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm, with dedicated terminals for motor connection and DC 24 V supply distribution
Electronics are bus-powered, and local logic keeps the device operating even when bus communication is interrupted
Communication objects cover position, slat angle, override, and travel direction
Functions include scene control, alarm response, forced position, and configurable startup after bus voltage recovery
